On the eve of their Saturday commencement ceremony, 12 students completing their bachelor’s degrees in architecture & sustainable design presented their culminating works in The Gallery at Penn College. The reception included family members, faculty, classmates, alumni and industry professionals. Just a few days following the conclusion of the Spring semester, Penn College welding faculty returned to their 55,000-square-foot lab to offer training for 10 high school educators from throughout the state. The Community Arts Center spotlight shone brightly on graduates as they walked across the stage during Penn College's three commencement ceremonies, held May 10-11 at the historic theater in downtown Williamsport. More than 600 graduates chose to enjoy their moment in the sun (despite some rain) and shared the occasion with family and friends, many of whom cheered loudly and wept quietly, celebrating the newest Penn College alumni. The stage is no bigger than on the national championship level and three Penn College teams will be there this week. The golf team is in Boulder City, Nevada, where play begins Tuesday in the NCAA Division III Championship. The women’s softball team, fresh off winning the United East Championship on Saturday, will play in D-III action Thursday-Saturday at the regional level of the NCAA championships. Archers will compete Thursday-Sunday in the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals in Statesboro, Georgia.

Pennsylvania College of Technology conducted three commencement ceremonies on May 10-11 for about 725 students who completed academic requirements during the Spring 2024 semester.
